July Flew By

I have finally found a second to sit down and breathe, long enough to type what has been going on over here. Let me tell you, it's been nothing short of crazy!  Actually, pure chaos would be the best description of my last month and a half. I have had some major events in my life from moving, remodeling, traveling to Boston, Brooklyn having allergy testing done, having some of our kids donor siblings in town and entertaining over the Utah holiday, having to put our doggie Pepper of 15 years down, celebrating our 6th year wedding anniversary, and Kris' 30 year school reunion. (All of these deserve their own blog post... I will get to that!) It's been a rollercoaster of events and emotions. I honestly haven't caught up with my life yet... But as the dust is starting to settle, I am feeling so blessed. Blessed because I have a great life with amazing people in it. I honestly don't know how I would have survived the last two months without the help & love of family and friends! They have been there every step of the way, from packing boxes, moving furniture, cleaning, organizing, installing lights, watching kids, and even letting us live with them while inbetween houses! Whew! I don't know how people move without extra help, especially if they are moving out of state! (Can't even imagine! We just moved 5 minutes away and it was hard enough!) Moving brings so many unexpected curve balls, it's exhausting! I am happy we are done with the hardest part and are in our house finally. We have been here a week and everything is coming together little by little; it is staring to feel like our home. I am loving to see the progress and can't wait to share pictures with you all! The before and afters already are night and day! That part has been super exciting and keeps me going.

Thank you for being patient as I have been MIA! Hoping to find our new normal soon!
